As an artist I wanted a way to intoduce my own unique style of art, with my eco-conscious portraits on recycled wood, and my elegant life drawings with floral imprints to the world. My inspiration comes from many things, including my life experiences, but to narrow it down I would have to say I'm inspired by nature and the elements of life. So much can be said by the use of a simple facial expression on color or even the change in season without saying a signal word. That to me is what beauty and art represent and exactly what I want to capture in each one of my pieces. By fusing the human, animal, and organic plant forms together I am able to bridge the metaphorical and physical meaning of what is defined as beauty.

My favorite painting thus far has to be "power of da Puff". The connection I have with not only the image in her natural state but also the with the vibrant colors I use. The image speaks a language of elegance and softness as well as mystery. The profile gives the audience a glance into what she might be thinking as she rest her chin on her hand. The way the the light hits her skin showing her back and arms exposing her strength and inner beauty that resinates effortless. In painting her I felt a special connection that took my breathe away while I laid the last brush stroke and took a step back to reflect. I can see so much of my artist growth in this one image as well as the unlimited creations I can make.
